I became involved with aviation some years ago when I was first asked to paint a Spitfire for a friend. The subject was entirely new to me as an artist, though I have always been fascinated by aircraft since childhood. Since these early days this field of work has gained me a lot of compliments and I have felt very privileged to have been involved with some great personalities. Both war veterans and modern day pilots and experts have been kind enough to countersign my limited editions. With their encouragement and advice my work in this area has developed and my own knowledge on certain subjects has increased to the point where I now know enough to be considered an expert too!

My Aviation work is much sought after so I am afraid the originals, which are available, are only few in numbers. However, prints on this subject were published by Solomon & Whitehead and are available on the secondary market.
